Once we took that plunge then it was an amazing learning curve. We received good reviews all across, be it from critics or general audiences. People have liked our film and are enjoying their time in the theatre. We definitely learnt a lot with this decision but biggest would be that we were able to create a new pan-India audience for a Bengali film. People are now aware that Bengal is also catching up in the race of making commercially viable and successful films which can also be witnessed in the different parts of the country”
