“Swatantrya Veer Savarkar,” the highly anticipated biographical film starring Randeep Hooda, has made a thunderous debut at the box office, 1.10 crores India collection raking in an impressive 1.60 crores world wide on its opening day. The film’s extraordinary performance on day one was propelled by strong audience turnout, particularly in Maharashtra, CP, and Nizam belt, where it emerged as the top-grossing film.
Despite regular ticket rates and the advance booking opening very late, the film witnessed a phenomenal response, setting the stage for an equally promising day two, with advance bookings showing remarkable growth. This stellar reception underscores the audience’s enthusiasm for compelling storytelling and stellar performances.
The box office performance on day 1 is very similar to last year’s superhit “12th Fail” which started on similar numbers, however with a longer runtime, lesser screen count and a modest Marketing budget, Randeep Hoodas directorial debut has fetched better occupancy and is looking to follow the example of the Vikrant Massey Superhit.
